I’ve recently had some requests on how I’d style my family for fall photos. With fall right around the corner, what better time than now to show you a couple style boards on what we’d wear. All these items would be great for indoor, and outdoor photos. I kept things simple by sticking to one store.I did this for two reasons- first its always nice to have a one stop shop, two H&M is a very reasonably priced for the whole family

When it comes to any family photos I like to have a colour scheme in mind and stick to colours that compliment each other. I like to stick to ankle boots, knit sweaters, and long sleeves. The fall months can be a bit chilly- so think about layering your outfits. for example adding a jacket overtop. Blankets are great item for a prop, or getting those cozy shots with your little one.

In all honesty (may be an unpopular opinion), I am not into matching everyone. For example- If one person wears plaid, try to avoid having other family members wearing plaid. I like to stick to more neutral tones, with some earthy tones. And if you like pattern try to stick to a more subtle pattern.

Again this is just my opinion, do what makes you happy. My hope is that these style boards make it easier to shop, or at least give you some direction when shopping.
